A landscape series made on a frozen January day at the Cregennan Lakes, high above the Mawddach estuary in Eryri.

Frost on the shoreline, snow on the peaks and low winter light gave us still water, mist and big skies to work with. The set moves from wide panoramas that show the scale of the place to quiet details, with a few more abstract frames in between.

Each image was finished with a restrained edit that keeps the cold, clear atmosphere of the day. The series was made to be printed as winter posters.
