Josh and Chloe’s wedding at The Ashes Barns brought together rustic charm, big emotion and soft autumn light. We set out to tell the whole story of the day: the quiet moments, the big feelings and the small details that made it theirs.

Morning

Chloe and her bridal party made a bright, airy space for the preparations, and we kept direction light so the portraits felt natural. Her first look with her dad was one of the most emotional moments of the day, and we photographed it documentary-style so it could unfold without interruption. Across the venue, Josh and his groomsmen were putting the finishing touches to their tweed suits.

Ceremony

Soft afternoon sun filled the barn, giving warm, timeless images with rich natural colour. We concentrated on real reactions: the laughter, the nerves and the little glances between them.

Portraits & golden hour

Afterwards we explored the grounds, using the lake, the open fields and the autumn colour as backdrops for the couple and bridal party. The day ended with confetti, candid moments with guests and golden-hour portraits.
