Capturing courage and elegance at Molineux Stadium

Every event is a chance to tell a story, inspire change and celebrate people’s resilience. We recently had the privilege of filming one that did all three. Molineux Stadium hosted a powerful Cancer Research Awareness Month fashion show, where seven remarkable cancer survivors walked the catwalk in stunning Indian fusion fashion. None of them had modelled before.
We’re grateful to Amandeep for organising the event and choosing Film Forward to capture it. Her dedication to raising awareness for cancer research is inspiring. Thanks too to Amy, who supported our crew throughout the night; her help meant we could capture every moment.
Survivors in the spotlight
The heart of the night was the seven survivors themselves, showcasing a fusion of Indian fashion and elegance. They broke through stereotypes and showed that beauty has no boundaries.
Their confidence and resilience shone as they walked with grace and poise, in a dazzling display of colour, texture and design. Knowing that none of them had been on a catwalk before made it all the more moving.
Amandeep’s vision
Amandeep shared her personal connection to the cause and her vision for the show. Her passion for raising awareness and funds for cancer research was obvious, and every detail had been thought through to maximise the event’s impact, from the choice of models to the designs on display. It motivated our team to capture the night in a way that did her vision justice.
Amy’s support
Behind the scenes, Amy made sure our crew had everything we needed. Her coordination meant we could focus on the creative work, knowing the logistics were taken care of.
Thank you
Our heartfelt thanks to Amandeep, Amy and everyone who made the show possible. You can watch the films in our portfolio. They tell a story of courage, hope and resilience, and a reminder that beauty and strength prevail even in the face of adversity.
