During Cancer Research Awareness Month, seven cancer survivors walked the runway at Molineux Stadium in Indian fusion fashion. None of them had modelled before.

The event was organised by Amandeep, and we were asked to film it. We followed the models from fittings through to the emotional moments backstage and their walks down the runway, and caught the colour, pattern and craft of the clothes along the way.

We made two films: one of the show itself, and one built around interviews in which the models tell their own stories of strength and recovery. We hope those stories reach people on a similar journey and raise awareness of cancer research.
